"Faire liens"
(Weaving Connections) by Anne-Sophie Menet

Anne-Sophie Menet is a French eco-artist who creates sculptures and site-specific installations.

Her work centers on the fundamental concept of shelter, encompassing both physical and emotional aspects.

A refuge, figurative or symbolic, to protect — and celebrate — what is [still] alive around us. She works with natural and renewable materials found in her environment.

Here, she sculpts using earth entrusted to her by individuals who shared the story of “their” land, which carries their hopes and relationships with the living world.

Her sculptures embody these narratives. Alongside them, site-specific installations respond directly to the Lebanese context.

This exhibition was created during a residency at Zico House (Part One) and MACAM (Part Two), with the support of Artemed.
